Dear Bidder,

Welcome, we are excited to present to you our Delinquent Tax Sale Auction.

I would like to remind all bidders not to wait to bid.  Please enter or upload your bids early.  After you register, you may start entering bids as soon as the site is open.

If you are bidding on more than 10% of the sale being offered, your bids must be submitted by file upload and not by manually entering individual item bids.

As you will notice there are two different sites you can go to.  If you are new to the process or just want to brush up on how to maneuver through the sale, we have available for you a practice site that will allow you to get familiar with the way the system works.

In order to ensure the integrity and fairness of the registration and bidding process, we will not allow the use of sub-accounts.

In order to participate in the online tax sale, all new bidders are required to register and submit either a W-8 or W-9.  Only new bidders should register the new bidding entity.  Existing bidders should use their current bidder number and verify / update their existing W-9 / W-8 information on file with the Tax Collector’s Office.  As noted in the Electronic Tax Certificate Sale Terms, at time of registration each bidder is required to fill out and electronically sign the Participating Bidder Agreement.  Please read through all the documents provided on the website prior to bidding.

We appreciate your investment in our Delinquent Tax Sale. Please feel free to e-mail us at mctctaxsale@mariontax.com with any questions.
